How are KRs gonna travel to Germany, especially 3 weeks before IEM, which is also offline. Imagine if the KRs gonna stay those 3 weeks with the EU guys, practice and prepare for IEM in EU, lol.
In the before times this was occasionally done. Obviously it’s a consideration, but it wasn’t all that surprising to see someone jump back and forth within weeks. Hell, back in the MLG days I imagine there was some MLG one weekend, GSL RO8 next, IEM NY the next, etc.
In regards to general travel, certainly the expectation is that return-quarantine will be a thing of the past come January.
Also hell yeah more return to LANs.

AFAIK HomeStoryCup has always been the last skill check before Katowice or to get the competitive juice flowing after a christmas break

I sadly don’t see them get lifted/changed for the foreseeable future.
Hope it works out in the end and we can have some offline SC2 back!

Can’t imagine how HSC21 and Katowice are going to work for the koreans with the strict quarantine rules.

Entry from SK to Germany is actually no big deal. From what I’m reading there is no quarantine mandatory and if you are fully vaccinated you don’t even need to do tests

Considering the numbers are growing this seems like a very… optimistic view.
