After the initial few weeks of multiple games launching each Friday, Apple slowly went into a pattern of releasing one new game per week on the subscription service. That pattern has been broken with a pretty erratic release schedule where people aren’t sure if a new game is releasing or not each week. Today, after bit of a break, Roundguard () from Wonderbelly Games has arrived on the service. The game also launched on other platforms including Nintendo Switch and Steam alongside Apple Arcade today. Watch the trailer for it below:
Roundguard blends dungeon crawling with pinball physics. It has a pretty nice aesthetic and brings roguelikes and Peggle together. The game includes multiple classes and loads of items and trinkets to find with new effects. It also includes leaderboards. If you’re interested in checking the physics-based roguelike dungeon crawler out, you can get Roundguard on Apple Arcade here if you have an active subscription. Don’t forget to check out our Apple Arcade forum for discussion on the service and every game included here. What do you think of the slow pace of new games added to the service?
