With the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard, a new warzone map is coming and so what does that mean for the original map, Verdansk?
After Season 6, Verdansk will be no longer available to be played as the classic map is set to be replaced.

In the tweet above, charlieINTEL revealed that Raven Software has confirmed that Season 6 will be the last time we see Verdansk.
Verdansk has been the core of the Warzone lifestyle for over a year.
Although we have seen it go through some minor cosmetic changes, the absolute core of the map has stayed the same and kept its’ satisfying playstyle in tact.
No matter how the new map plays, it will have a lot of room to make up for in order to catch up to the mystic of Verdansk.
Although many players will choose Rebirth Island over Verdansk, the original was the choice that made the player base of Warzone become how large it is today. It combined the Ground War Maps and other locations into one giant map with great game flow and a large amount of players per game played.
It is safe to say that Verdansk will go down in Call of Duty history and never be forgotten.
