Honoring Veterans at Swinomish Casino & Lodge

This Veterans Day, Swinomish Casino & Lodge will be thanking active and retired military members for their service with a complimentary meal and $10 in Promo Play. During the Honoring Veterans promotion from November 11 to November 15, 2020, these guests can visit the Signature Welcome Center to activate their offers.

“This tradition of honoring those who have served our country began well over a decade ago here,” said Table Games Manager Myrtle Rivas. “We began with the Missing Man Table, which we still do each year.”

The Missing Man Table, which is set for one person, honors our missing soldiers. The setup contains symbolic elements, each representative of the lives of these Americans and their loved ones.

Swinomish Casino & Lodge currently employs 25 veterans. Every year, there is a team member wall of appreciation displayed to honor them for their service. Additionally, Rivas writes individual thank-you letters to each of these employees.

“I do this to honor and show appreciation for the sacrifices these men and women have made for our freedom,” Rivas said.

The complimentary meal (up to $15 in value with a paying guest) is redeemable at Carver’s Café, Swinomish Sports Bar & Grill, Fatburger, or Manchu WOK.
