This Sunday hosts the first Derby della Madonnina as AC Milan take on Inter Milan at San Siro in what is expected to be a tough and entertaining affair as it always is. The contest is scheduled to kickoff at 22:45.
AC Milan have been impressive in the Serie A this season as the club is one of the two sides to remain unbeaten in the league so far. Hence, Milan will be looking to extend the unbeaten run as they keep their eyes on the Scudetti.
Meanwhile it has not be a smooth Scudetti defence for Inter Milan who are forced to play catch-up with Napoli and their City rivals AC. Inter Milan have stumbled in the recent times, but they appear to turning things around now as they head into the derby on the back of four wins in their last five matches across all competitions.
It hasn’t been tough for Inter in the continental campaign as it has for their opponents as Inter have won two and drawn one of their four Champions League fixtures to collect seven points that have them occupying the second spot in Group D and are coming off a 3-1 win against Sheriff Tiraspol.
The win was the third win for Simone Inzaghi’s side as they were coming off back-to-back Serie A wins against Empoli and Udinese. Thus, Inzaghi and co will be looking to keep the momentum going as they aim at keeping the pace with the league leaders.
