AC Milan vs Napoli Match Analysis and Prediction

Both AC Milan  and Napoli will be looking to extend their lead at the top of Serie A when they lock horns at San Siro in their  Matchday Eight tie on Sunday.

AC Milan continue to improve as the season progresses and have remained unbeaten across all competitions so far. They have come through a few big tests already with the 3-2 victory over Inter Milan underlining their title credentials.

The Rossoneri are coming off a 3-1 victory over Dinamo Zagreb in a midweek Champions League fixture, making it back-to-back victories as they were previously coming off a 2-1 win over Sampdoria in Serie A.

They will now look to extend the winning streak on Sunday and proving to be a hard side to beat at home, the Rossoneri should feel confident on Sunday.

They however face an equally motivated Napoli, who are also unbeaten across all competitions so far this season. They are currently level on 14 points with the Rossoneri but sit top of the table due to a superior goal difference.

Napoli are currently on a four-match winning run across all competitions and things look to be going well for them. Luciano Spalletti’s men were made to work hard before claiming a 1-0 victory over Spezia but returned to their best form in the Champions League as they won 3-0 at Rangers.

They will now be looking to extend the run on Sunday as they hope to go into the first international break at the top of the league.
