Alliance down to two; Leslao and Supream out

One week after parting ways with Handsken, Alliance announces the departure of Ondřej “Supream^” Štarha and Rodrigo “Lelis/Leslao” Santos.

It has been a rough season for Alliance. The famed Swedish-based organization was relegated to Division II just two weeks ago, where they will have an uphill battle to fight to reach the second Major and work towards The International 11.

On the heels of their demotion, the organization announced that Simon “Handsken” Rasmus Haag’s second stint with Alliance came to an end after more than two years in which he played in both support positions.

Now, more changes have been made.

Brazilian player Rodrigo “Lelis” Santos and European player Ondřej “Supream^” Štarha will both be released from the team as part of the restructuring for the next season.

So far there is no word on where any of the released players will go for n ext season, nor which players will complete the roster.

Alliance still has several weeks to find the right formula to fight through the Western Europe Division 2 in the Spring Tour and bring the team back to the first division. Although there is no official date for the Spring Tour starting point, it is expected that the new season will begin sometime in mid-March.
