AMANEK to sign for LDLC – Report

28-year-old Frenchman AMANEK will sign for LDLC in the near future, according to a report from French outlet 1pv.fr. The news comes after AMANEK has spent over seven months benched from G2’s main roster, spending short stints subbing in for Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen and Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam during that time.

AMANEK is set to join an all-French roster

AMANEK has been with G2 for over three years, since March 2019, and filled multiple roles, including taking up the AWP during the latter stages of lengthy time on the starting roster.

Whilst the team recorded some impressive results during his tenure, including top-two finishes at IEM Katowice 2020, IEM Cologne 2021 and the PGL Major Stockholm 2021, they were unable to kick on and take a title.

According the report AMANEK joins a roster that is currently in the process of being built, with Florian “ElectuS” Delearde benched in the last few days and Arthur “Snobling” Benard and Matthieu “Razzmo” Mellot on trial with the team. LDLC recently finished top-four in the French ESL National Championship.

According to the report, LDLC’s lineup would be:

France François “AMANEK” Delaunay
France Filip “Graviti” Brankovic
France Remi “Diviiii” Alexandre
France Ryan “Neityu” Aubry
France Hugo “Brooxsy” Di Bono
France Eythan “unshaark” Solomon
France Arthur “Snobling” Benard (trial)
France Matthieu “Razzmo” Mellot (trial)

France Lambert “Lambert” Prigent (coach)

France Florian “ElectuS” Delearde (benched)
