Andre Drummond will join Chicago Bulls

Veteran center Andre Drummond is on the move again. He has reportedly agreed to a new deal with the Chicago Bulls. The length and money specifics are yet unknown at time of writing. The deal is being finalized, and is not 100 percent official yet.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported the news via Twitter on Thursday.

Drummond was picked in the top 10 of the 2012 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons. He played there from 2012-2020, and since has been on four different teams. In 2020 and 2021, he was a Cavalier, in 2021 he was a Laker, in 2021 and 2022 he was a 76er and, finally, was a Net to end the 2022 season.

He played 24 games with the Nets, and started all of them. Drummond scored 13.8 points per game (his highest since 2020-2021 with Los Angeles). He also grabbed 10.3 rebounds per game, securing him a double-double average in 2022.
