Apex Legends Mobile Is Launching in 10 Countries Next Week

Apex Legends Mobile has had a few closed beta periods in the past, and now it’s finally time for a limited release. The mobile version of Respawn’s FPS battle royale will be coming to 10 countries on iOS and Android devices next week.

No specific date was given, but the mobile version will launch in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and Colombia. It’s been stated in an official blog post that a broader launch will come once feedback from the limited release has been taken into consideration.

Apex Legends Mobile will only allow players to use Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Wraith, Bangalore, Octane, Mirage, Pathfinder, and Caustic for this regional release. There also won’t be any crossplay at all since this version of the game was designed to play against other mobile users, not console or PC players.

Additionally, players will need iOS devices with more than 2GB of RAM and Android devices with more than 3GB of RAM to play. However, these Android brands with only 2GB of RAM will be supported:

• Vivo
• Oppo
• Huawei
• Motorola
• Samsung
• Lenovo
• Xiaomi

Finally, for those curious, here are the minimum Android requirements for Apex Legends Mobile:

• Android 8.1
• Open GL 3.0 or higher
• 3 GB free space
• At least 3 GB RAM
• Screens size: N/L/XL

And here are the iOS requirements:

• iPhone 6S or later
• OS version: 10.0 or later
• CPU: A9
• 3 GB free space
• At least 2GB RAM
