World Cup Icons are the first set of Campaign Icons in FIFA 23. EA Sports removed Prime Icon Moments in favor of Campaign Icons for this year’s Ultimate Team cycle. The developer has more flexibility now with upgrading Icons throughout the year. As well, EA Sports has set a precedent of being able to pack Campaign Icons from traditional gold upgrade packs which is a big win for the community.
World Cup Icons are rated between their middle and Prime versions.

Considering the amount of Upgrade SBCs currently available, this SBC should be relatively easy to craft if players want to do so. As well, he makes for a solid box to box or defensive midfielder. Icons get full chemistry in squads and provide two nation links. Players tend to appreciate Heroes more for their links this year, but Icons can’t be overlooked depending on their cards.
