Blackpool will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in the Championship to four matches on the bounce when the host Bristol City at Bloomfield Road in a crucial league fixture on Saturday evening with kickoff at 18:00.
Both sides have made inconsistent campaigns in the Championship this season with Blackpool recording 10 wins, seven draws and 11 defeats from their 28 league matches to claim 37 points which have left them sitting in the 15th with three points above their visitors, who have recorded nine wins, seven draws and 13 defeats from their 29 matches collecting 24 points which have them sitting in the 16th just two points above the 19th placed Swansea.

Meanwhile are still struggling with consistency with the side claiming just two wins from their last nine matches across all competitions, picking up two draws while suffering five defeats in the process and are coming off a 2-2 draw against Preston in their last league outing.
The defence has been a major cause of the inconsistency as they have conceded at least two goals in each of their last eight Championship fixtures. Although they are not worried about a drop as they sit 14 points above the relegation zone but Nigel Pearson knows that he is clinging ono his job in the short and long term.
