Bloober Team sure is busy. Not only are they given the reigns to remake Silent Hill 2, they are also working on a completely new survival horror IP.

Bloober Team will be working with Private Division for this new game. It’s in early development and is expected to launch before 2025.

“Our next project is an exciting new survival-horror game, which will help us become a leader in the horror industry at large,” said Piotr Babieno, Chief Executive Officer of Bloober Team. “I am grateful for this cooperation with Private Division. Their expertise is extensive, and their people are also very approachable. We don’t perceive them in a typical ‘publisher-developer’ relationship; they’re more like a friend who shows us support or keeps us in line when we need it most.”

In addition, Private Division is launching the Private Division Development Fund. This allows smaller indie developers to get support via project financing and mentorship so that they can self-publish their games.

Several developers are being supported via the Private Division Development Fund, including Die Gute Fabrik, Radical Forge, and Lost Native.

Private Division celebrates its 5th anniversary as Take-Two’s indie publishing label with a new video.

The video features interviews with various members of the publisher, as well as the many developers they are currently working with including Bloober Team, Yellow Brick Games, Weta Workshop, Intercept Games, Piccolo, Evening Star, Die Gute Fabrik and Roll7.

This year sees Private Division publishing two of Roll7’s games, OlliOlli World and Rollerdrome. Both are stellar titles in their own right.
