Prediction: Ravens

SG Esports are heading into this tie as the favorites with odds of winning this match at 2.84 compared to the Ravens’ 3.55 but the former have been on a really poor run of form. They’ve lost their last two matches and won just one of their last six.

Ravens, on the other hand, have won their last two matches and are in decent form with four wins in their last six. It’s not perfect but much preferable to have this sort of run than the one SG Esports are currently undergoing.

However, it’s important to remember that SG Esports won the last competitive tie between the two sides back in March with a 2-0 scoreline. The Ravens are ranked a lot higher, 60th in the world, but they don’t have the experience of SG Esports, who are ranked 103rd in the world at this moment in time. There’s little to choose between the two sides at the moment. A draw is not likely with odds of 1.93.

Neither of these teams is likely to come out on top once the BTS Pro Series Americas concludes but will want to showcase their highest level. Ravens seems like the better pick only because there’s little between the two sides and they offer the higher reward. The form for the two sides might just be more decisive. The Ravens look like they’re in a good place at the moment with a better ranking and better form. SG Esports must be feeling the heat, with momentum and confidence playing a massive part in all competitions.

This is just the sort of game that bettors look for, where everything is hanging in the balance and the team with lower odds has got everything going right while the team with the higher odds is struggling.

According to the odds at Duelbits, a wager on Ravens picks up odds of 3.50. That is also because the chance of a draw is fairly high.

Team DogChamp vs The Cut prediction

Prediction: Team DogChamp

Unlike the teams from the previous, Team DogChamp and The Cut have a bit of history. The Cut have got the edge in the head-to-heads with four wins, three losses and one draw but Team DogChamp have come out on top in the last two clashes between the two sides.

More importantly, the matches took place in the recent past. Neither of these teams has been very consistent with Team DogChamp losing their last match but winning three of their last six and The Cut also losing their last match but winning two of their last six.

Like the previous match, there’s little between these two sides. Team DogChamp are currently ranked much higher – ranked 62nd in the world, whereas The Cut are currently ranked 102nd in the world. Of course, rankings don’t count for much in individual ties. It’s the match-up that ultimately counts but it’s worth nothing that with the better form, better ranking and by having won the last two matches between the two sides, Team DogChamp will have the psychological edge heading into this match.

They’ve got a lot going for them in recent weeks and months. The same cannot be said for The Cut. The Cut, however, are the more experienced side and have also got the head-to-head advantage. Their odds of winning this match are 4.10 compared to Team DogChamp’s odds of 2.54. It’s hard not to be tempted by the value on offer if The Cut wins this one.

However, there’s a reason that despite having a better head-to-head and experience, they aren’t the favorites to win this match. It seems like the two sides are heading in opposite directions and we think it’d be smarter to pick Team DogChamp for this match.

According to the esports odds at Duelbits, Team DogChamp are slight favorites with odds of 2.60 to win in a three-way moneyline market.
