Buddy Toss Strategy Guide – Reach Space With These Hints, Tips and Cheats

Buddy Toss is a game about throwing your friend as high as you can. We’re talking throwing them into the distant reaches of space here. It’s simple enough – tap to throw, tap to throw again – but there are things you’re going to need to know to get the most out of the experience.

And that’s where this guide comes in. We’ve poured a decent slice of our life into Buddy Toss and discovered a series of strategies that are going to help you get the highest scores possible. And now we’re only too happy to share those discoveries with you.

It makes no difference whether you’re preparing for your first throw or you’ve already caught glimpse of a space dinosaur – there’s going to be something here to help you out. These are the best hints, tips and cheats for Buddy Toss.

Work on your timing

The key to succeeding here is getting the timing of your taps just right. To start with that’s pretty easy, but the higher you toss, the more difficult it’s going to get. You need to learn from your mistakes and work out when the ideal tap time is as your buddy plummets from incredible heights.

Upgrade when you can

Upgrades are super important, and you need to increase your stats in both of the skills. Power is great, obviously, but increasing your size is super important too. This will give you a bigger hit box for your taps, which gives you more time to get your tap right and keep your toss going.

Play the stories

The stories are a decent way of earning extra stars to get to upgrades quicker. They usually involve a tap to toss and a tap to perform some airborne action. Give them a go from time to time to increase your coffers and power up your tosser in the main game and success should surely follow.

Get the skins?

The skins are aesthetic changes that make you look like a monster or a super hero. You can apply them to both tosser and tossed. You’re better off saving your stars and spending them on the upgrades, since those are going to give you a chance to keep getting higher scores.

Continue your toss?

When you die you can watch a video to keep your toss going. It’s a decent way to get a big score and lots of stars, but it’s also going to take a chunk of time. The decision belongs to you, but we think you’re better off ending the run and moving on to the next toss.
