Bullet Hell Card Game Heck Deck Launching on Android in January

If you were going to pick two genres that should be completely incompatible to mash together, bullet hell shooter and card game would probably be pretty high on the list. But that’s what Heck Deck is, and it looks awesome.

The game is a product of a game jam, and it tests both your dexterity and your strategy. And it’s coming to Android at the start of next year. When you’re moving time is passing, when you stop you can play a card.

But the cards cost life points, so you’re going to have to be smart about the ones you choose, otherwise you’ll be meeting a grisly end. Here’s a trailer to give you an idea of what the game looks like in motion.

Heck Deck is developed by Torcado and published by Plug In Digital. It’s got five levels, 30 different enemies to try and take down and unique modifiers that will keep you on your toes.

The game is set to launch in January next year, and pre-registration is already live on the Play Store. If you’d like to get your order in now, you can click here to pre-register for Heck Deck on the Play Store.
