The 8th season of the Capcom Pro Tour is coming to an end after a nearly 7-month long 2021 season. Players have fought through 31 qualifiers in hopes of qualifying for the Capcom Pro Tour Finales.
The plans for this year’s finals event had to be reworked at the last second due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It now takes place between February 18 and 20.
Capcom Pro Tour 2021
Once again, Capcom has made the ultimate decision to cancel the Pro Tour Finals. An online alternative season finale appeared in its stead. However, unlike last year, the Street Fighter League championship event was also canceled. Capcom did not make an official announcement regarding the future of the Street Fighter League yet, so fans should keep an eye out for fresh information in the near future.

Season Finale
Capcom Fighters just revealed the full list of participants for the 2021 season finals. In addition to the 31 qualified players, there are also 9 invited players who are coming from the smaller regions. They come from regions with only 1 qualifier, unlike the larger regions that had 2 or even 4. These players will be facing off against each other in a best-of-9 showcase-style match. Each winner would be claiming a $5 thousand cash prize.

This Season finale features a 5v5 exhibition called No Neutral. Team captains RobTV and Brian_F team up with their local communities to prove which North American coast is truly better than the other. Fans can spectate the exhibition and the Capcom Pro Tour finales on both Youtube and Twitch on February 17th.
