Carbon Offsetting for gaming and esports – helping us make a better world

This is a slightly different post from normal as we would like to take the opportunity to update you about some of our business practices. We recently got contacted by A Ton of Fun, a company who specialise in helping organisations in the videogame industry set up carbon offsetting for their business.

As we play games and use our PCs, travel for events or watch the latest tournament streams we are using energy. A Ton of Fun are working with CarbonClick to educate companies about how much carbon they are using per year and and how they can reduce their carbon footprint. Some of the green energy and earth projects they are supporting include creating hot water from solar energy in India, replanting the Australian bush and helping tribes in Africa project the forests and wildlife.

We have a responsibility as a company because we are involved in an industry that consumes a lot of energy. From today, a portion of the fees from every project we undertake will go to Carbon Offsetting projects around the world. When you choose to work with us you will also be contributing to making the world a better place and for that we want to thank you.
