Celtic had a nine-match unbeated run which came to a sudden end in the midweek, and they are hoping to get back to winning when they welcome Aberdeen on Sunday.
Aberdeen have lost back-to-back games heading into this match, which they are hoping to set right as they currently sit just five points above the relagation zone.
Celtic were beaten in the midweek when they encountered Bayer Leverkusen. Despite taking the lead 2-1, they conceded twice in the final 10 minutes of the game to fall to a 3-2 defeat.
However, the Hoops had before that built an unbeaten streak of nine games in all competitions and that recent form had helped them bounce back into the title race.
Head coach Ange Postecoglou has steered his side up to the second position in the league table, with just four points apart from league leaders Rangers at the moment.
Celtic were able to reach the Scottish League Cup final recently, having defeated St. Johnstone 1-0 through James Forrest goal.
They also managed to pick up three points the last time they met Aberdeen, with an 84th-minute goal from Jota to secure a 2-1 victory.
The Dons have struggled lately in the league, having lost their previous two matches goalless, adding more concern to their recent performances.
Aberdeen have managed only two victories in their previous six fixtures, but this month they have failed to secure three points so far.
They lost to Motherwell and followed that defeat with another loss after being beaten by Dundee United in a match that saw Funso Ojo receive a red card.
Aberdeen are currently sitting just five points adrift the relagation zone, and considering all teams bellow them have a game at hand, a gap that might disappear.
Only Ross County have lost more matches than Aberdeen this season.
