Cheap gaming laptop deals this week

Cheap gaming laptop deals don't happen as often you think. Even on big shopping holidays like Black Friday or Christmas, the stellar deals on the best gaming laptops get scooped so fast you never have a chance to add them to your cart. But don't worry dear reader, we here at PC Gamer do our best to do most of the hard work to track down several decent deals every week and highlight them here.

Every week, we scour the deepest retail crevasses on the internet for the best cheap gaming laptops. We are prioritizing any gaming laptop deals with Nvidia RTX 30-series mobile GPUs as they offer the most bang for your buck. If cheap is genuinely your goal, we usually find laptops with RTX 16-series or 20-series graphics cards are your best bet. AMD systems occasionally show up on sale, but those end up being much fewer and far from their green-colored rival.

Here's our list of best cheap gaming laptop deals we've spotted recently at a range of budgets. Whichever you go for, check out our list of best laptop games for stuff that runs well, even on low-spec machines. Cheap gaming laptop deals

$500–$1,000

Gigabyte G5 KC | 15.6-inch | Nvidia RTX 3060 | Intel Core i5 10500H | 1080p | 144Hz | 16GB RAM | 512GB SSD | $1,199 $1099 at Newegg (save $100 after rebate)
This is a gaming laptop we’ve recommended plenty over the past few months, namely cause it’s a cheap way to grab an RTX 3060-powered machine that doesn’t sacrifice memory or screen to hit an affordable price tag. The chassis isn’t the slimmest going, but that’s potentially to its benefit when you can open it up easily and upgrade the SSD, or add in another SSD or HDD in the free slots, and switch out the RAM as you please.

$1,000–$1,500

Lenovo Legion 5 | 15.6-inch | Intel Core i7 11800H | Nvidia RTX 3070 | 1080p | 165Hz | 16GB RAM | 1TB NVMe SSD | $1,619.99 $1,399 at B&H Photo (save $220.99)
A lovely 11th Gen Intel CPU here, paired with a nice, mid-level 30-series GPU. The 165Hz panel isn’t the speediest in the land, but there’s and a good amount of storage space, and the 16GB of RAM can be upgraded to a 32GB maximum, if you’re feeling handy.

Gigabyte Aorus 15P | 15.6-inch | Intel Core i7 11800H | Nvidia RTX 3060 | 1080p | 240Hz | 16GB RAM | 1TB NVMe SSD | $1,899.99 $1,599.99 at Newegg (save $220)
A decent 11th Gen Intel CPU, combined with an RTX 3060 for just over a grand and a half isn’t bad. That’s especially true since this one’s paired with a fantastically speedy 240Hz panel, and a good amount of storage space, to boot. A free copy of Dying Light 2 is included with the order.
