Round eight of the Chinese Super League ends on Monday when Chengdu Rongcheng play host to Cangzhou Mighty Lions as the Huitang Stadium.
The hosts have not tasted any victory this season, while Cangzhou Mighty Lions head into the contest on a run of six consecutive matches without a win.
Newly-promoted Chengdu Rongcheng continue to struggle with life in the Chinese top flight as they were held to a goalless draw with Beijing Guoan on Thursday.
Seo Jung-won’s side have now failed to win any of their opening seven matches this season, recording five straight draws and suffering defeats against Shenzhen and Beijing Guoan in their opening two fixtures respectively.
However, Jung-won will be impressed with his team’s solid display at the defensive end in recent weeks, as they have kept three clean sheets in their last five matches.
Having picked up five wins from a possible 28, Chengdu Rongcheng are currently sitting 15th in the Chinese Super League table, one point and one spot below Monday’s visitors.
Meanwhile, Cangzhou Mighty Lions suffered their third defeat of the new season through a 4-1 loss to Meizhou Hakka when the sides met last Wednesday.

Cangzhou Mighty Lions have now lost three of their last four matches, conceding eight goals and scoring two in the process, with a 1-1 draw with Beijing Guoan on June 25 being the exception.
Svetozar Sapuric’s side have also failed to taste victory in six straight matches, stretching back to June 5 when Bughrahan Iskandar and Oscar Taty Maritu found the back of the net to hand them a 2-1 victory over Beijing Guoan in the first game of the season.
