Be methodical

It’s important that you’re methodical with your cleaning. Don’t just pick parts at random. Focus on a single room, then work your way around, cleaning in rows. Leave the room you enter through as the last place to clean.

Walls and corners are often the places you’re going to miss, so it’s important to make sure you clean them. Some walls will block your sight of the grime, but it’s still there. Push into the walls and corners to up your star count.

Keep upgrading

There are loads of stats to increase, from the power of your vacuum to the amount you earn for the dust you collect. Try not to focus on a single stat, instead upgrade them reasonably evenly, favouring power, capacity and earning power, but spreading money around the others as well.

Sell to the middle collector

The first collector rarely gives you enough cash, especially as you get deeper into the experience. That means your best bet is the middle collector. You’ll have to watch a video, but you’ll get enough money to get a few upgrades, which will help you out way more than grinding.

Three stars is fine

It’s pretty much impossible to clear up a building entirely. Instead, settle for unlocking the third star and then move on to the next challenge. More often than not you’ll unlock the next level before you get to that point, but it’s worth getting as much money from a place as you can before you move on.
