Construction Simulator Features Over 25 Licensed Brands For Its Heavy Machinery

There’s always a cool sense of realism and authenticity when a simulator game gets to use licensed brands. Astragon Entertainment’s upcoming Construction Simulator (technically the fourth title in the series but this 2022 entry is numberless), developed by Weltenbauer, is doing just that.

The game’s latest trailer proudly shows off the 25 different real-world brands that have teamed to offer their machineries to Construction Simulator. From the iconic yellow Caterpillar excavators to Liebherr pile drivers. Even the trucks have familiar names like Mack Trucks, Scania and DAF joining the fray.

While this isn’t shown in the trailer, Construction Simulator also features licensed workwear by Engelbert Strauss. Branded workwear, wild times indeed.

Construction Simulator has you work in your own construction company, working on contract jobs across two different open world maps (one themed in the EU, the other in the US) in an extensive campaign. There will be 70 different vehicles, machines and equipment that you can make use of. The map has a day-night cycle, improvements in the graphics and its earthmoving system, and has co-op play for up to 4 players.

Construction Simulator will be out on September 20 for the PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
