Cowboys Rule Jason Peters Out For Divisional Round

The Dallas Cowboys have ruled out offensive tackle Jason Peters for the Divisional Round with a hip injury. He suffered the injury in the Wild Card Game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

When Peters went out, the Cowboys moved rookie Tyler Smith to left tackle, where he has had some success this season. That moved Connor McGovern into the lineup at left guard. Tyler Biadasz will continue to play center, while Zack Martin and Tyron Smith will play right guard and right tackle, respectively.

Peters, 40, signed with the Cowboys before the season after Tyron Smith went down with a torn hamstring. He played for the Bills, Eagles and Bears before signing with the Cowboys.

The Cowboys play the 49ers on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. EST.
