There are many reasons why some players are better at CSGO than others. Aside from playing for countless hours, professional players know the ins and outs of the game. What’s more, they usually know things that others are not aware of.

Even though we are not professional CSGO players, our many years of experience allowed us to see many unique things. We know that most of them will help you, which is why we will show you some things you should do. Some of the things you are about to see may not work, but others will. CSGO Tips – Put yourself in the best position possible

Positioning is critical in CSGO. We have a lot of guides that go over some things you should do, but if we have to summarize them, we can say that you should try to put yourself in the best position possible.

What we mean by that is that you have to analyze the situation and go to a place where you can make the most of it. It doesn’t have to be a specific bombsite because it all depends on the map. By having good positioning, you can catch your opponents off guard and win the round.

The bad news is that this technique will take a lot of time to master. In fact, some people have to play for many years before they can decide which is the best sport to go to.

CSGO Tips – Switching playstyles

We’ve talked about how important it is to be unpredictable in some of our guides, but since this is crucial, we will review it again. If you take a look at some of the best CSGO players in the world, you will see that they always do something different. Sure, they might have a couple of favorite spots, but they always switch them.

Doing this may not seem that essential, but it can make a significant difference. By changing your playstyle on the go, you prevent your opponents from getting used to the things you do. For example, if you peak mid on Dust 2 with an AWP every round, they will always throw smoke and/or try to kill you. However, they will be on the lookout if you go B, Long, Short, and Mid.

Try to wallbang as much as possible

The concept of “wallbanging” was extremely popular in CS 1.6 because the walls were pretty thin. As a result, players often secured tons of random kills by simply spraying through the wall or door. Needless to say, old-school CS 1.6 players who play CSGO do that all the time, but this is not the case for those who are new to the franchise.

For those who don’t know, wallbanging is when you shoot an enemy through an objective and kill it without him noticing you. We’ve seen tons of jaw-dropping wall bang kills over the years. In fact, s1mple is probably one of the first names that come to mind because he always tries to score kills doing this.

Jump Spotting

Have you ever wondered why some players can defend multiple points when they are on a CT side, and you can’t even focus on one thing? Well, one of the things that professionals are known for is the so-called “jump spotting”. This technique may seem strange and even dangerous, but it can do wonders in all sorts of situations.

The idea of Jump Spotting is to stay in one place while simultaneously keeping an eye on multiple angles. One of the most common jump spots is on Dust 2’s B side, where you can keep track of mid and tunnels. Even though this is not a reliable way of stopping the enemies from pushing, this technique allows you to get the needed information and inform your teammates.

Before you decide to put it to the test, you have to know that it is possible to be killed. If the enemies are expecting you to jump spot, they could land a lucky headshot while you are in the air. That’s one of the reasons why you should only do this in certain spots.

Put your luck to the test

There are many cases where players miss out on amazing kills and win simply because they are not confident in their skills. Some CSGO players wait for that perfect shot to secure a kill, whereas others only shoot when they are 100% sure they will kill someone. Although playing cautiously is usually a good idea, there are many instances where it is better to take risks.

Going for random headshots might not be a good idea in most cases, but there are scenarios where it might work. Some of the best players in the world test their luck all the time, which is why they often land stunning kills that seem impossible. Needless to say, you should try to do the same because it will help you become a better player.

Always help your team when needed

The last thing you should do, no matter your role or position in the game, is help your teammates when needed. You can do that by throwing smokes, flashes, dropping weapons, using callouts, and all sorts of other things.

The best CSGO players in the world are those who work well in a given team and can play alongside their teammates. Even if you are the most talented individual player, you won’t be successful in competitive CSGO if you don’t have a team. There are countless examples of CSGO superstars who are always ready to help their team when needed.

If you are unsure how to do that, watch some of the many guides available online. You will find a lot of information about how to use flash, smokes, grenades, and tons of other things.
