Cygnus Enterprises Is Part Base Builder, Part Top-Down Shooter, Out Now On Steam Early Access

Cygnus Enterprises, a new sci-fi action RPG and base builder, is out on Steam Early Access. This is a new title title by Shanghai-based developer Team Miaozi.

In Cygnus Enterprises, you play as a contractor for the namesake Cynus Enterprises, restoring a derelict outpost on planet Mytilus. Your job is to get the operation running again. And then explore the planet and uncover the secrets of a past civilization.

The game is played as a top-down shooter. You’ll have to fend off the wildlife with guns and other weaponry and gear. All of them can be upgraded, and they can drop as loot, which gives the game that action RPG moniker.

And then there’s the whole base-building aspect. You’ll have to gather materials, and keep the settlers and staff members happy once they move into the outpost.

At launch, Cygnus Enterprises includes six character classes, ten different weapons types and should have around 12 hours worth of story content. Expect more content to arrive in future updates.
