Czech Republic vs Estonia Match Analysis and Prediction

Czech Republic will be hosting Estonia on Tuesday night with an aim of sneaking into the second spot in Group E, so as to secure a spot in the World Cup 2022 qualification playoff in the process.

The hosts are currently in position three in the section, only three points behind second-placed Wales, while Estonia are at the fourth position just one point ahead of Belarus who are in the fifth position having played all eight of their matches.

Czech Republic come into this vital World Cup qualifier propelled with a 7-0 friendly victory over Kuwait and they must defeat Estonia on Tuesday for a better chance of claiming position two in Group E.

They are three points behind Wales who have already guaranteed a playoff position due to their UEFA Nations League performance.

Wales will be finishing their group-stage campaign at home against Belgium, who have successfully topped the group, collecting 19 points out of their seven matches to secure their spot in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Czech Republic have won three matches, drawn two and lost two of their seven matches in Group E, and they recorded a 2-0 away victory over Belarus on October 11 in their last World Cup qualification clash.

They have never qualified for the finals of a World Cup since 2006 when they were eliminated in the group stage, but they enjoyed an impressive Euro 2020 reaching the quarter-finals of the competition.

Estonia are coming into the Tuesday contest with a 3-1 loss to Belgium on Saturday and it has always been difficult for them to compete in this section, as they have never qualified for the World Cup finals.

Thomas Haberli’s team will however not finish at the bottom of the group, with Belarus completing their campaign on three points while they have picked four points out of seven matches to become number four.
