Cover Star

In traditional Madden fashion with every new game in the series comes a new cover athlete. With Madden 22 two NFL athletes graced the cover at the same time. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Tom Brady and Kansas Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes.

Madden 23 will honor Hall Of Fame Legend John Madden on its cover. Madden passed away on Dec. 28, 2021, at age 85. In a homage to its namesake, there’s no better person to showcase this year’s installment than John Madden.
