Disney Dreamlight Valley showcases slice-of-life gameplay in new trailer

If you’ve ever wanted to bring together your favorite Disney characters in an Animal Crossing-esque crossover event, then you’re in luck. Disney Dreamlight Valley is an upcoming life simulator game that harkens to the Nintendo life-sim we all know and love. Only this time you’ll get to create a town with characters like Goofy, Moana, and Wall-E. There are tons of ways to hang out with these iconic characters, and it’s all on display in the newest gameplay trailer for Disney Dreamlight Valley.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must rebuild this titular town, reclaiming its dreamy glory while bringing your favorite Disney and Pixar characters together. There are tons of recognizable figures in this new game from the trailer. Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Remy, Olaf…pretty much anyone you can think of. In the game, a phenomenon known as “the Forgetting” has plagued Dreamlight Valley, and it’s up to you to restore the world.

A dreamy village

Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s gameplay trailer goes into great detail about what you can expect while playing the game. While exploring different locations in the game, like Dazzle Beach or The Plaza, you’ll encounter new characters who have unique stories or quests. When interacting with these characters, you’ll have to deeply explore your environments in order to befriend these characters. You might even befriend some unexpected characters, like Ursula from The Little Mermaid.

There’s gardening, farming, cooking, and other peaceful activities to participate in. You can even invite Disney characters into your home for a little bit of socializing. If this all sounds up your alley, Disney Dreamlight Valley will release on September 6 through Steam.
