Dundee will be looking to extend their winning run to two matches now when they welcome St Johnstone to Dens Park for a crucial Premiership match on Wednesday night with kickoff at 22:45.
Dundee have experienced a tough welcome back to the Scottish top-tier with the club recording three wins, four draws and seven defeats from their 14 Premiership matches, collecting 13 points which have left them occupying the 11th spot in the relegation zone. They head into the match on the back of a confidence boosting 3-0 success against Motherwell at home last weekend. With Livingstone and Dundee level on 13 points means that a defeat on Wednesday for the visitors would leave them occupying a spot in bottom two.
The Saints head into the contest in a poor form as they have only managed one win in their last five matches across all competitions, picking up two draws and two defeats in run and are coming off back-to-back defeats to Hibernian in the Premiership and Celtic in the League Cup.
They therefore, will be looking to move on quickly from their dreadful run as they aim to bag all the three points on Wednesday against a side that are unbeaten against in their last seven meetings.
