Earthbound Nintendo Switch Guide Walkthrough: Part Four

In the last part of Earthbound Nintendo Switch Guide Walkthrough: Part Three. Pokey, the dog, and Ness traversed the mountaintop to the meteor.

An odd buzzing sound draws the attention of the boys as the talking bee begins to provide a backstory about what is happening in the world.

Once Buzz Buzz is finished providing exposition, then it joins your party to help you back down the mountain. Start heading back down the mountain, where you will see an NPC standing in front of the only building.

They tell you that they want to see you later, alone. That does not sound terrifying at all.

The trip back down the mountain is relatively uneventful until you get near Pokey’s house. Unfortunately, before you can bring everyone to safety, Starman Junior appears and is your first major encounter. Of course, Pokey is useless in this fight and Picky only does minor damage. The only true players in this fight are Ness and Buzz Buzz.

Fortunately, Buzz Buzz creates a shield around the party that soaks up all major damage from Starman Junior.

While Ness’ damage to Starman Junior is minuscule, most of the damage will come from Buzz Buzz himself, aren’t they a handy party member?

This encounter was meant to be won, so do not put too much thought into it. After Starman Junior is defeated, then you will get a little more exposition from Buzz Buzz until you can continue.

Buzz Buzz was an invaluable member of your party and was essential in the defeat of Starman Junior. Unfortunately, all good things must end. You go straight to Pokey’s house where their creepy-looking parents are worried sick about their children.

After a rude encounter with the father, the mother’s freakish strength takes out Buzz Buzz. A magical interstellar boss was not able to do so, but Pokey’s mother could, and now we mourn the loss of Buzz Buzz.
