Inter Milan will be looking to return to winning ways in the Serie A when they travel to Stadio comunale Carlo Castellani on Wednesday to take on Empoli in 10th league round with kickoff at 21:45.
Empoli managed to bounce back from their two back-to-back defeats against Roma (2-0) and Atalanta (1-4) with a dominant and resounding 4-2 against fellow promoted side Salernitana. Empoli lived to their expectations as they entered the match as the favorites and enjoyed complete domination in the first half as their raced to a 4-0 lead at half time.

Inter are now in the third spot on 18 points, seven points behind league leaders Napoli and AC Milan on 25 points each. Therefore, Simone Inzaghi’s side be eager to take maximum points from their fixtures against Empoli and Udinese in the coming week, before they meet high-flying city rivals Milan in the season’s first Derby della Maddonnina next month.
