In the rematch of the REPUBLEAGUE TIPOS quarter-final which took place on Tuesday ahead of the start of the main portion of V4, Fiend were undeterred from the earlier loss as they picked Mirage the second time around as well, but they ended up on the shorter end once more.

Krad led the way with a 30-bomb on Mirage

A convincing defense spearheaded at first by Viktor “Lack1” Boldyrev and then Vladislav “Krad” Kravchenko saw Entropiq amass a sizable lead while the Bulgarian side were grasping at straws, but once sides switched Fiend found their footing to make it more of a contest thanks to a few unlikely round wins.

Two halfbuy turns and a 1v3 from Kamen “bubble” Kostadinov kept the CIS side from running away with a comfortable victory as Fiend closed in on their opponents, but in the end Entropiq found their way to the last two rounds with a timely B execute and a 3v5 on A, keeping their opponents at bay 16-12 as the series moved to Ancient.

Entropiq had their star in Aleksey “NickelBack” Trofimov on the second map this time around as he led the way to another dominant opening half, helping his team both with some key openings as well as in difficult man-disadvantage scenarios. From there, the favorites had little trouble closing the series when they won forcebuy wars in the opening stages of the half, rallying to a 16-5 scoreline after that.
