Esports Engine appoints former Riot producer as director of program operations

Vindex-owned esports production and tournament company Esports Engine has announced the hire of Janet Shim as Director of Program Operations. Shim will lead strategy and program design across Esports Engine’s various broadcast and tournament operation clients.

In 2020, Shim was part of the Riot Games team which received the 2020 Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Esports Coverage for the League of Legends World Championship finals. Shim worked for Riot on esports production since 2012, most recently serving as Global Product Lead for Worlds.
