Falcons qualify for ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference

Falcons beat 1WIN in the best-of-five ESL Challenger League Season 41 Europe final to secure a spot at ESL Pro League 17’s prelude, the Conference stage.

The Frenchmen did so through the playoffs’ upper bracket, thus taking a map advantage into the grand final, which was sealed with a resounding 3-0 scoreline. The final series against Denis “deko” Zhukov and company was a rematch of the upper bracket final, which was preceded by Falcons defeating Movistar Riders and SINNERS.

Kyojin topped the board in the grand final with a 1.42 rating

Falcons have therefore completed the event undefeated, also taking out Copenhagen Flames and AGO in the group stage, with Bryan “Maka” Canda and Ali “hAdji” Haïnouss being the team’s top producers throughout the Challenger League with 1.31 and 1.23 ratings, respectively.

The French team will therefore have another chance at making a splash in Pro League’s Conference stage, which they just played after winning ESL National Championship France Spring, but to no avail as they were taken out in 7-8th place by their HEET countrymen who went on to qualify for the upcoming Pro League group stage above them.
