Farming Simulator 23 Mobile Makes A Chicken The Hero – Droid Gamers

It’s the news you’ve all been waiting for, Farming Simulator 23 is now available on mobile. The latest entry in the hugely popular farming game series by GIANTS Software, this is a more exciting release than you might think. No, really. Read on to learn why.

One Man Went to Mow a Mobile

The bland title may not inspire a huge amount of confidence, but it’s best to think of Farming Simulator 23 as a slightly more robust Harvest Moon – as a virtual farmer you tend to your crops, machines, and animals.

As you might expect the main draw here are the machines, all authentically licensed. Yes, the names Case IH, Fendt, John Deere, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, and Valtra might not mean much to you – but trust us when we say they’re a big deal in the world of farming.

In terms of the game itself, you work your way around two all new maps which change their visuals based on the seasons.

Other than this, the game has added a range of new mechanics such as plowing and weeding – and there’s even the chance to create specific products like bread if you create a crop of wheat and so on.

If this sounds a little too much like work, there are animals too – such as pigs, cows, horses, and sheep. A chicken is even the star of the game’s trailer, which you can see above. Chickens need to be the heroes of more games, so this is a decision we wholeheartedly can get behind.

In any case it’s great to see hefty titles like this get onto mobile, with Boris Stefan – Head of Publishing at GIANTS Software – saying that the game “proves that simulation games are not limited to a selection of platforms, but can be played anywhere and anytime.”

So if you want to get your plough on, you may want to mosey on over to Google Play now to check out this new farming game. Not cut out for working the digital land? We have a list of best new Android games that are out this week right here too.
