EA Sports has finally lifted the veil for their final title under the FIFA branding, FIFA 23. It marks the end of a 27 long year partnership between EA and the football governing body since 1993 and will see the usage of their new title, EA Sports FC, starting next year.

But for the here and now, FIFA 23 is set to launch for all major consoles and PC, with the game getting Cross-play battle between the PS5, Xbox Series Consoles and PC players for the first time, while the PS4 players can cross-play with their Xbox One compatriots as well.

Another feature that’s been added to the game is the inclusion of two major Women’s Football leagues for the first time in the series’ history, 7 years after the addition of the Women’s International teams back in FIFA 16.

This will see the English side Barclays Women’s Super League and France’s Division 1 Arkema joining the current 30 league that’s in the game right now. No info on whether players can do Career Modes on both leagues but you can now play as the actual managers of the teams now, roleplaying as them on and off the pitch.

Both Men and Women’s World Cup is also coming to the game as a free DLC, with it being in both Qatar and New Zealand respectively. This couple with the new Hypermotion2 Engine, which is finally arriving in PC, looks set to be the swansong for this final FIFA entry.

FIFA 23 is set to launch on September 30 for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch (via their legacy edition), and PC on Origin, Steam and Epic Games Store.
