Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series Heading To PS4, Switch

Square Enix has announced that the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series will be heading to PS4 and Switch.

First released on PC and mobile devices, the Pixel Remasters are the latest versions of Final Fantasy I, II, III, IV, V and VI that maintained their 2D pixel graphics, just like how they were originally released on the NES and SNES.

The 2D pixel graphics have been redrawn, the fantastic soundtrack has been rearranged, and new UI and quality-of-life features have been added with the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series.

Several entries of the first six Final Fantasy games have had a 3D remake, but for those who prefer to experience the early games of this seminal JRPG series (but with modern quality-of-life options and on modern platforms), this series is for you.

Expect all six games from the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series to be available on PS4 and Switch sometime in Spring (Q2) 2023.
