Find the Alien Strategy Guide – Spot the ET With These Hints, Tips and Cheats

Find the Alien is a game where – you guessed it – you’re trying to find an alien. Despite subtitle allusions to the contrary, this isn’t a multiplayer game like Among Us. Instead you’re scanning people, and blasting the ones that you reveal to be extra-terrestrials.

The game has a few sharp edges that you’re going to have to get to grips with if you want to come out on top. And that’s where this guide comes in. It’s packed full of the finest strategies we’ve discovered during our time playing Find the Alien.

Whether you’re just about to scan your first critter or you’ve already freed a suburb full of civilians, there’s going to be something here to help you out. These are the best hints, tips and cheats for Find the Alien.

How many are you looking for?

You need to make sure you’re taking out all of the aliens on the level you’re playing. You can check to see how many you need to dispose of by looking in the top left corner of the screen. Once you know how many you need to kill, you’re good to go.

You can’t spook aliens

Quite often the aliens are spread across different groups in the same level. Don’t worry about alerting them to your presence, though. You can shoot an alien in one group and the other will carry on regardless. Aliens in the same group might react, but you’re never going to lose sight of them.

Be patient

On some levels it isn’t immediately apparent who the alien is. Your scans will come up blank and there’ll be nothing to shoot. Wait a while and something will change – a knock at the door, a bus arriving – and the alien will appear. Be patient and the enemy will come to you.

Shoot everything on the last level

The last level in every chapter involves blasting a bunch of aliens on their own ship. There’s no scanning here. Just tap the green-skinned critters to take them down and save humanity. You might need a few shots to do it, but just keep blazing away until everything stops moving.

Get the guns?

You can unlock new weapons once you’ve finished enough levels. You’ll need to watch a video to do it, though. The weapons are all essentially the same – you’re unlocking new skins, rather than extra firepower. With that in mind, you can get them if you want, but it won’t actually change anything.
