Nintendo’s Fire Emblem has created a very large collection of games over the years, and when Fire Emblem Engage releases in the future there will be a new game added to the franchise.
Nintendo announced their latest game, Fire Emblem Engage on Sept. 13, 2022. This is the 17th installment into Fire Emblem, and it certainly has taken the internet by storm trending on YouTube today.
While the trailer for the game was just announced, we won’t have to wait too long to pick up this game. The release date is already known, and it is not that far away.
Fire Emblem Engage will release on Jan. 20, 2023 via the Nintendo Store. The digital version of the game is available for preorder right now.

Here is a quick overview of the game from Nintendo:
In a war against the Fell Dragon, four kingdoms worked together with heroes from other worlds to seal away this great evil. One-thousand years later, this seal has weakened and the Fell Dragon is about to reawaken. As a Divine Dragon, use rich strategies and robust customization to meet your destiny—to collect Emblem Rings and bring peace back to the Continent of Elyos.
Fire Emblem Engage is listed to cost $59.99 for the standard digital edition of the game. It is important to note that the Divine Edition is not available yet for preorder so once we know how much that edition costs we will update you.
With the potential of characters from earlier editions of the game showing up in Engage, gamers may want to replay some of the later Fire Emblem games as a warm-up. The last Nintendo Fire Emblem game was Warriors: Three Hopes and released in June of this year.
