The incoming AWPer takes the place of Iulian “regali” Harjău, whose transfer to another team is impending.
fnatic has announced that the organization’s academy team, fnatic Rising, has signed AWPer Filip “DEPRESHN” Jarkić. The 19-year-old is an FPL-C player that has so far made his name in the lower rungs of European competitive play with mix-teams from Europe and the Balkans.
The Croatian sniper will take the place of regali, one of the top-rated WePlay Academy League players in the development league’s first season. The Romanian AWPer’s future will be outside of fnatic as a transfer to another team is on the horizon.
DEPRESHN will be tasked with AWPing duties in fnatic Rising
A new skipper is also on board the new fnatic Rising. Former Dignitas analyst Mikael “sheddaN” Mellström will take the reins as coach, a position previously held by Benjamin “cube” Stabell and even first-team player Maikil “Golden” Selim who stood in as in interim when he coached the youth team while on fnatic‘s bench.
fnatic Rising‘s first matches with DEPRESHN and sheddaN in WePlay Academy League Season 5 are on August 1, when they face Eternal Fire and the four-time WePlay Academy League champions MOUZ NXT.
fnatic Rising is now:
Peppe “Peppzor” Borak
Mikkel “Maze” Sparvath
Sebastian “volt” Malos
Matias “Banjo” Kivistö
Filip “DEPRESHN” Jarkić
Mikael “sheddaN” Mellström (coach)
