A number of wonderkids have found new clubs this summer, with the likes of Xavi Simons, Gavin Bazunu and Karim Adeyemi all switching allegiances.
Whilst this may result in certain stars becoming more difficult to acquire, it also means a number of top talents will receive major boosts in Football Manager 2023

Everyone knows that wonderkids are the lifeblood of Football Manager, and this will be no different in FM23.
Whilst we may not have our hands on the database, we can already take a good guess of which youngsters will fall into the wonderkid category in Football Manager 2023.

Defining Wonderkids
Wonderkids are youngsters between the ages of 15 and 19 that possess a potential ability rating of over 150.
A potential ability rating is a pre-determined number that indicates the player’s skill level, with some stars like Pedri having variable ability ranges, and other stars carrying a high-value cap.
The in-game and pre-game editor gives us an insight into the CA (Current Ability) and PA (Potential Ability) behind each player, as these stats aren’t commonly known unless you look for them.
For those of you that enjoy long-haul saves in Football Manager, you’ll soon find out that wonderkid scouting will become a key element of your success.

You can expect a large number of these FM22 Wonderkids to carry over their status into Football Manager 2023.
