For Honor Gets An Egyptian Hero “Medjay” Next Week

For the first time since its launch, For Honor will receive an Egyptian hero “Medjay” with the Heathmore update coming later next week.

The story of the new expansion follows the events of Year 6 Season 2 when the Jarl Bolthorn of Vikings stole the Scarab Bracelet from Egyptians to use its magic to make a flawless life for his people with endless food and drink. However, it was soon proven that the bracelet contained a curse, which didn’t take long to spread all over Heathmoor.

With the hope of bringing the Scarab Bracelet back home, Neferkha, the Medjay, travels to Heathmoor, and this is where the story of the new season begins. As an elite Egyptian warrior, the Medjay has the knowledge and skill to put an end to the curse of the bracelet, which makes his arrival to Heathmoor even more important.

With his dual-wield axes, Medjay will be a powerful hero in one-on-one combats. Also, he will have a wide-reaching Fan Axe, ideal for chaotic combats where you need to fight with more than one enemy. Similar to Pirate, Medjay is also an Outlander that joins the For Honor roster on July 28.

If you don’t want to spend money on the new hero, you will have to wait until August 11, when Medjay will be available for 15K Steel (in-game currency). However, if you can’t wait to play as an Egyptian warrior, you can purchase his full package, including instant access to Medjay, an Elite outfit for the hero, seven days of Champion Status, and an exclusive ornament, and three Scavenger crates.

If you have not played For Honor yet, Ubisoft will launch free week-long access to the Standard Edition of the game on July 28 for PlayStation and PC gamers. For Honor is already available for free on Xbox and PC Game Pass. So, if you are a subscriber of the service, you can give it a shot whenever you like. Not to mention that For Honor is also available on Ubisoft Plus for free.

Curse of the Scarab, the latest season of For Honor, went live over a month ago, and Medjay is the first hero to be introduced in the season so far.
