Forgotten Cold War Weapon Could Rival the NZ-41 and STG-44

The current Warzone meta has been dominated by the NZ-41 and STG-44, but that doesn’t mean players can’t use other weapons when dropping into Caldera or Fortune’s Keep.

Popular Warzone player IceManIsaac recently revealed that the C58 is a worthy rival to the current meta weapons. The C58 is an assault rifle that was introduced in the last game in the Black Ops series, Cold War, and was ultimately forgotten by players among the abundance of weapons Warzone has to offer.

IceManIsaac also revealed that the C58 assault rifle actually has a faster time to kill than top weapons such as the NZ-41.

Even with the high TTK rate, the C58 isn’t perfect. Players will have to be able to manage high recoil, and the gun doesn’t have the best fire rate. But with its raw power, it is still viable for players who don’t want to follow the meta.

Keep in mind the C58 has high recoil and slow ADS times, so make sure to run Overkill with a more mobile weapon such as a SMG.
