Forspoken tells the story of Frey Holland (Ella Balinska), who finds herself transported from New York City to the fantasy world of Athia. Utilizing a variety of magical spells, she fights to stop the tyrannical rule of Tanta Sila (Janina Gavankar) as she sets out to find a way home.
Gary Whitta, Amy Hennig, Allison Rymer, and Todd Stashwick have all contributed their writing talents to the game, and Bear McCreary and Garry Schyman have composed music for the title.
