Fortnite Secret Lair Cards Revealed in Magic: The Gathering’s Latest Drop

Magic: The Gathering’s Secret Lair series is one of the most interesting products to come out of Wizards of the Coast in some time. Each drop has its own unique theme. Some drops are based on television, while others are based solely on singular artists. This time around, Magic is taking some inspiration from other games. The Fortnite Secret Lair drop is the newest edition to the Secret Lair family. On Wednesday July 6, IGN received an early glimpse at the latest cards inside the Fortnite Secret Lair drop.

Per the IGN article, the Fortnite Secret Lair has two separate drops that players can order. The first being the traditional, “Secret Lair x Fortnite” with the other being “Secret Lair x Fortnite: Landmarks and Locations”. The prior is a set of cards that are legal cards but with new Fortnite-themed names and art, while the latter is a collection of full art lands. The lands showcase some of the most popular areas in Fortnite.

Inside the Fortnite x Magic bundle is a set of seven cards: Shrinking Storm (Wrath of God), Dance Batlle (Dance of Many, Supply Llama (Etherium Sculptor), Crack the Vault (Grim Tutor), Battle Royale (Triumph of Heroes), Battle Bus (Smuggler’s Copter) and The Cube (Planar Bridge). The “Landmarks and Locations” bundle features one of each basic land, but make sure not to mistake the Swamp for a Forest.

The Fortnite x Magic: The Gathering package will be available for prospective buyers on July 21.
