Forza Horizon 5 Series 11 Now Live – Rami’s Racing History Adds New Horizon Story, New BMW And More

Welcome to what’s technically is Series 11 of Forza Horizon 5. Starting with this series, developers Playground Games will stop referring to new series (or “seasons” in other live service video games- they have to call it series as it clashes with the open world having a change of season every week) by their number, but by their theme name, with this one being Rami’s Racing History.

The four-week-long event will see Rami, one of the characters you meet and get to know in Forza Horizon 5’s story, leading you to explore the history of cars, including the automobile history of Mexico. To hammer down the theme, you’ll hear some new voiceover for the limited-time event where Rami explains what the events of the Festival Playlist will be themed on.

For Rami’s Racing History, you’ll be exploring the different eras of cars, beginning with pre-1970 cars for this week in the summer. Next week in autumn it will be based on cars from 1970 to 1989, the week after that in winter is all about cars from 1990 to 2009 and lastly, in spring, it’s modern cars from 2009 onwards.

In addition, a new Horizon Story will be added in this update. “Made In Mexico” will see you dribing the many cars assembled in the country (including the made-in-Mexico car VUHL 05RR) and why the locals love them.

Two new seasonal speed zones that only appear during this series and a new collectible type also will appear during this four-week period ending on September 16.

Forza Horizon 5 Series 11 New Cars

As for cars, seven are being added with Rami’s Racing History. Two are brand new to the Forza series which are the XPeng P7, an EV made in China, and the new BMW M4 Competition Coupe. By new, we mean “the one with the controversially striking/obnoxious grille”. You either love the new kidney grille design (that in fairness does pay homage to the brand’s history) or hate it with a passion.

The rest are returning cars from past Forza games, including the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR, which is the rare Festival Playlist car to be added in the Autoshow so you can buy it anytime after the series is over. The monkey paw curls though, as it’s priced at a cool 140,000,000 credits.

Here’s the full list of cars earnable in Forza Horizon 5 Series 11 Festival Playlist:

  • 2021 BMW M4 Competition Coupe – 80 points on Festival Playlist
  • 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR -160 points on Festival Playlist
  • 1956 Porsche 550 Spyder – 20 points during summer
  • 1985 HDT VK Commodore Group A – 20 points during autumn
  • 1990 Subaru Legacy RS  – 20 points during winter
  • 2020 XPeng P7 – 20 points during spring
  • 2010 BMW E92 M3 GTS  – 40 points during spring
