Fans of Garena’s free-to-play battle royale game Free Fire got a special treat this past weekend, as they logged in to enjoy a virtual concert performance with virtual band T.R.A.P. The dazzling live showcase was the finale of the Battle In Style event which ran from 12 to 20 November. The event went hand-in-hand with Booyah Day – a special event that celebrated the addition of the new character Leon.
The four virtual band members – Kelly, Moco, Miguel, and Antonio – appeared in-game on Saturday 27 November for the debut performance of their new single, also called Battle In Style, which was inspired by the diversity of Free Fire’s player base.
The song incorporates a number of different musical styles, with each element tied to a different member. Antonio brought the rhymes with her rap verse, while Moco brought glistening electronica beats, Miguel added country into the mix, and Kelly added upbeat pop beats. All of these sounds were blended to create a song that is intended to appeal to a wide range of fans.
