Both teams lead the rankings and have been in top form this split, and it’s hard to pick a winner knowing that neither side is going to go down without a fight. The League of Legends betting prediction gives Pain Gaming the edge over their opponents in this contest, though the margin is a slim one.

Furia Esports

Furia have emerged this year as the team to beat. With 12 wins and just 2 losses from their 14 games so far, they have an almost unbelievable win percentage of 87. They’re currently on a seven-match winning streak, and any team that breaks it has to produce something exceptional.

They are relatively new participants in the CBLOL, and this is only their fifth split after they became eligible for the league in 2020. After three lacklustre splits where they were entrenched at the bottom of the table, they overhauled their roster at the end of 2021. New signees included fNb, Envy, Netuno, Redbert and Ranger, who was replaced in June this year by Goot.

And the result has been a 360 degree turn in their fortunes. The bottom rankers from last year entered 2021 as complete dark horses, and the turnaround could not have been more dramatic. Furia finished second on the split rankings, but were knocked out in the R1 higher seed by Red Canids. Still, it was the furthest they have ever progressed in the CBLOL, and this split they’re making it clear they’re plan to take it one step further.

Only two teams have managed to beat them so far, their opponents for the upcoming match Pain Gaming, and oddly enough, Rensga Esports. The LoL predictions suggest Pain Gaming as the likely winner of this game, but it will be a tough contest.

Furia have employed a cautious approach to their gameplay. Their kill-death ratio of 1.83 is the highest among teams, but their kills per game stands at 14.9. Though this is a great metric, it isn’t exactly topping the charts. They’ve opted for self-defense over out and out aggression, and it shows by their low death-rate of 8.1.

The tower destruction rate of 8.6 is the highest among teams, and the tower loss per game, currently at 3.3 is the lowest. Furia has dealt a damage per minute of 2147, which is the fifth highest among the rest, but have maintained an excellent creep score of 33.5.

PNG have been one of the top performers in the CBLOL’s history, and have been around for quite a while. They’re currently ranked second on the split rankings behind Furia, with 11 wins and 3 losses and a win percentage of 79. PNG are one of only two teams who’ve managed to beat table-toppers Furia.

They’ve won the title twice in their history, split one of 2021 and back in 2015 as well. PNG were runners-up in the past split, blowing past Furia and KaBuM! e-Sports in the playoffs before falling prey 2-3 to Red Canids in the final. Across the past few years they’ve maintained an excellent standard of gameplay but have often fallen short in the playoffs.

In terms of consistency they are among the top teams, and have topped the split rankings twice across the last three years, as well as winning the title once in that time. This year’s no different from others, and since losing their season opener to their rivals from the previous split, Red Canids, they have been defeated only twice.

Aside from RED, only Liberty and KaBuM! have managed to secure wins against them this season. Before the loss to KaBuM!, they were flying high on a six-win streak. PNG will draw plenty of confidence from the fact that they’ve already beaten Furia once this split, one of only two teams to have done so. Naturally, the LoL odds tip PNG as the likely winners, but don’t expect Furia to go down without a fight.

Furia Esports vs Pain Gaming Predictions

PNG have maintained an average of 15.6 kills per game, and have been killed 10.1 times per game. Their kill to death ratio is a hefty 1.55, only second to Furia. They’ve killed 8.1 towers and lost 4.9 per game. PNG have inflicted a heavy DPM of 2254, second only behind LOUD, as well as keeping up a creep score of 33.1 per minute. These may still not be good enough to beat this Furia Esports team, and so that’s where our bets will be for this Brazilian game.
