Kwangdong Freecs have been underwhelming in every department this season. The slow and steady approach seems to have backfired this season. No team takes longer to finish their games, with most taking a little over 35 minutes.

Most of these stats don’t make for great reading but they also suggest that the matches aren’t likely to big very exciting for fans, which could adversely affect the brand that the team has, which is quite important for most Esports teams.

Gen.G look like a team with something to prove at the moment. They have decided to use the disappointment of last season’s final loss to T1 as the fuel for their excellent start to this campaign.
